1. Leave granted.
2. We have heard Mr. Nikhil Goel, learned senior counsel
for the appellants and Mr. Prashant Bhagwati, learned
counsel for Respondent No.1-State of Gujarat. None has
appeared for Respondent No.2- de facto complainant, though
served.
3. Appellants are aggrieved by order dated 17.03.2026
passed by the High Court of Gujarat at Ahmedabad (briefly
the ‘High Court’ hereinafter), partly allowing the
revision application of the appellants. By the impugned
judgment and order, while the appellants have been
discharged from the offence punishable under Section 406
of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, ‘IPC’), the
charge under Section 420 read with Section 114 of the IPC
against the appellants has been sustained.
